Funride: Small but fun.
The funride was small in number but large in
spirit. Mines and Del Puerto Canyon are incredible roads, and the
traffic was very light. Brunch at the Diablo Canyon Country Club capped
off a fine morning.

A Day at the Races - Saturday, October 27 -
Mazda Raceway, SCAA Championship
A chance to see six 928s on the track.
Mark Anderson and Joe Fan
from Socal will be bringing their stroked 928s to run with Norcal locals Mark
Kibort and Scott Graham. Chuck Briggs and Ken Osage will be joining in, coming
down from the Pacific Northwest.
The races are FREE to spectators,
although there might be a nominal per car parking charge.
If you are interested in watching our racing buddies terrorizing the other
competitors, we will be gathering at 8:00am (departing at 8:30am - first race
is at 10am) at:

125 Bernal Rd., #20
San Jose, CA 95119
Bernal is west off 101 just south of the 85 junction. From there we will wind
through backcountry to the Laguna Seca track.

Open Road Racing Information
has been added as a menu item to the left side panel menu. As noted in
that information, the 928 is an ideal car for open road racing. There
are speed classes to suit any level of experience and thrill-seeking. A
number of Norcal928 members are already involved. If we had a few more
members take part, we could form our own team and be a major contender for
awards. 928-related
videos have been embedded in the left side panel as well, and there is a link to
another page of embedded videos at the bottom of the panel. Lots of interesting stuff for your
viewing pleasure.

Get your tire pressures set and have fun
driving around the Altamont Raceway autocross course. For more
information, read

Sign-up page is here. Even if
you don't plan to drive the course, come watch and socialize. $20 at the
gate includes lunch for non-drivers. $80 for driving and lunch. A group of Norcal928 members ran a recent autocross there and had a great
time.

raffle. Also, special thanks to our greeter, Steve Bondi, and our grill
