24 Hours of LeMons:
----------------------
This coming weekend, a group of 928 owners will run a Porsche 928 in the 24-hours of LeMons race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma County. As you may know, in this racing series, not to be confused with the 24 Hours of LeMans :-), the cars are limited to $500 in total cost, and have to be run under an entertaining theme. The red 1984 928 owned by our own Brian Doty has been converted to an "estate", or "shooting brake" style rear end. This will be the team's second attempt, and they can use all the cheering they can get. They were running very strongly in the first race at Thunderhill a few months back when the motor gave out. Now with a fresh motor and experienced crew, their chances for success are great.
